2023 Challenges
No Sugar Challenge
K.I.S.S. member, Destiny Sullens, is our Disney “Be Inspired” grant winner! Step 1 of Destiny’s project called for participants to go a week without added sugar.
IF Mother Nature made it, you could eat it. If it’s any food that sugar had to be added to it, then you could not eat it. We know products like salad dressing, ketchup, or just about any process foods have added sugar. We didn’t want to go that far.
Click the links below to see what foods or drinks were allowed, grab friends and family, and challenge them to take the “No Sugar” challenge. There also is a Challenge Tracker you can print out and check off as you successfully complete the challenge!
Try the challenge with your family and friends. Encourage your classroom teacher or health teacher to start a “No Sugar” challenge. It’s fun, educational, and will show you what you’re made of. You can also order the winners or participants a “No Sugar” t-shirt at our store!
Water Only Challenge
Dr. Mark Hyman believes one of the main contributors to weight gain is our addiction to sugar. Yes, we consume too much sugar. We should really be drinking mostly water. Click here to read an article from Dr. Mark Hyman and try our “Water Only” Challenge. Try it with your family and friends. Ask your teacher to challenge his/her students to drink water only for a week.
You can also order the winners or participants a "No Sugar" t-shirt from our Online Store here.
